O’s Notes: While Kwassman and his cohorts could regurgitate countless covers of jazz classics, they instead embark on new territory, all original jazz-fusion. The pace and spirit changes during the course of the selections depicting the moods of an evolving life story, his own. At 24, Joshua shows a lot of maturity as a composer and performer (sax, fl, cl, p). He gives us something unique and engaging.
