O’s Notes: This is an interesting mix of chants, peaceful lyrics and inspirational music. As the title suggests, this session is an expression of stories. They are told well and supported by good instrumentation. Brian Blade (d), Ed Simon (p), and Luciana Souza (vocals) form the core joined by Patitucci who plays both acoustic and electric bass on this outing.
