O’s Notes: Kenny (p) assembled a core of class A musicians: Rufus Reid (B), Billy Hart (d), David Sanchez (s) and Eddie Henderson (t) for an explosive session. They simmer down nicely as well with Regina Carter (v) “Um Beijo” and brass harmonizing (David & Eddie) on “Sonja Braga”. Russell Malone (g) also makes a guest appearance, notably on the finale, trading with Kenny on an exciting endeavor! Top shelf!
