O’s Notes: Veteran trombonist, arranger Eric Goletz performs in multiple configurations ranging from a trio to a full chamber orchestra on Standard-ized! They perform fresh and unique arrangements of Eric’s favorite classics. We enjoyed “Just In Time” & “Mayreh” with fine work from pianist Jim Ridl, “Caravan” with strings, “Nature Boy” featuring LaJuan Carter, and “Summertime”. All the while Goletz injects crisp, warm trombone melodies for an energetic performance with lots of variations.
