O’s Notes: Pianist Takashi Matsunga leads a trio with Daiki Yasukagawa (b) and Junji Hirose (d). The music is upbeat and exhilarating. There are nine uplifting songs. They center around the piano where Takashi does great work. Our favorites were “Moko-Moko” and “Jungle Song” for their syncopated bouncy feel.
