O’s Notes: Izzy is a veteran cool crooner with a voice that appeals to a wide range of listeners. He employs a solid septet that includes guitarist Phil Upchurch and Will Kennedy on drums. While these are tried and true classic tunes; Chait makes them his own. Guest artists are sprinkled in to add spice, notably violinist Karen Briggs on “Stranger” and vocalist Gayle Moran Corea on “All The Way”.
