O’s Notes: We liked this one a lot, starting with the opener and it’s funky, country groove that carried over to several of the tracks. Cassandra Wilson sings a warm rendition of “Home On The Range” before the band opens up to let the fun begin on the remaining songs. They use ample amounts of percussion, chimes and lots of creativity to transform standards into modern jazz.
