O’s Notes: Ernest was a part of the jazz movement in Jamaica during the early 1960’s. His work on guitar his a warm complements the lazy reggae beats that defined a movement which has matured over the decades to become a classic, appreciated art form. There is an abundance of festive electricity abound. The spirit that emanates is a relaxed dance groove that fits with the heat of the Caribbean. Ernest plays 16 of his compositions with native Jamaicans displaying the peaceful side of reggae.
