O’s Notes: This is not a 100% Brazilian recording but the easy flowing, freshness of bossa nova goes beyond the opener “As You Are”. Sony takes the mood of the tunes and personalizes them. Holland swings with Charles McNeal (sax) on “Million Dollar Dreams” and sings the blues on “Speak Low”. She does a fine job with “I Was No Angel Myself”, “The Shadow Of Your Smile” and “Meditation”. The band is also top notch making this a balanced and entertaining set.
