O’s Notes: Brazilian guitarist Sergio Pereira assembles a stellar cast including Helio Alves (p), Duduka Fonseca (d) and Nelson Marta (b) to perform seven original compositions. The groove is a refreshing, mellow bossa nova on“Swingando. The pace is upbeat with Pereira leading the way including scatting of “Cheha Ai” and the title track. Claudia Villela adds vocals on “My Girls” and Olivia Villela sings on two other selections roughing out a refreshing session.
