O’s Notes: Pianist Tim Young and his brother drummer Al unite for their first recording together as a trio with bassist Bhagwan Khalsa. They play combinations of originals and standards that have a fresh swinging groove that is very engaging. Guest artists Ben Boker adds sax on “I Can’t Give You Anything But Love” and Sara Jones sings on two tracks most notably “Skylark”.
