O’s Notes: Nnenna brings her soft, deep vocals to the music of Stevie Wonder, each well suited to Nnenna’s style. More than simple covers, these are one dozen new arangements. Highlights are “My Cherie Amour”, “Another Star” and “Bird of Beauty” with a nice sax sole from Gerry Niewood. Bassist Gerald Veasley and guitarist Chuck Loeb stand out as well providing a funky backdrop. Unique and well-balanced.
