O’s Notes: Benny’s warm sax jumps out immediately on the opener, the title track. That warmth extends through the entire set and lends towards a perfect CD to relax to. I let it repeat 4 times one Sunday afternoon and enjoyed all of it! The other players are Edie Henderson (t), Mike LeDonne (p), Buster Williams (b) and Carl Allen (d). Each got a chance to shine but they sounded best as a well-integrated unit. Among the winners are “Sweet Georgia Brown”, “Killer Joe” and “Cherry”.
