O’s Notes: Karen has a deep emotional voice that pairs well with the sax of Harry Allen on “Dindi”. That’s not the only warm selection and the rest of the band is equally strong with Tony Tedesco (d), mentor Tony Monte (p), Linc Milliman (b), John Pizzarelli (g) and guest Bucky Pizzarelli for two tracks. Allen is swinging again on “I Love Being Here With You” and with Egert on with “So Danco Samba”. We also liked Karen on “I Remember You” a fitting finale to a fine session.
