O’s Notes: The All-Stars, a collection of jazz musicians got together for the first time in 1994’s March of Jazz, now an annual festival and celebration. The late bassist, Bob Haggart was the honoree. He played a wide variety of jazz along with many musicians including Howard Alden (g), Ken Peplowski (sax), Dick Hyman (p) and Dan Barrett (tb). Three days of magic are captured here on two CDs.
