O’s Notes: Composer, vocalist and drummer Sean Noonan leads a trio with pianist Alex Marcelo and Peter Bitenc on bass. The music of The Aqua Diva starts with the mysterious, dark tones of the ironically titled “A Sunny Day” before lightening up a bit with poetic spoken word and more vibrant rhythms. This is something unique and specific. Our favorites are “As the World Spins Around Me” and “Don Knotts”. You’ll need to clear you mind for this one, a love it or leave it CD.
