O’s Notes: They start with “Love The Drums”, an upbeat swinging number featuring solos by trombonist Dion Tucker and Howard Wiley on tenor sax. Sean Jones (flugelhorn) takes the lead on “Cool It Now. Christian McBride (b), Christian Sands (p) and leader Jerome Jennings (d) round out the band. Jazzmeia Horn does a fine job singing their rendition of “You Don’t Know What Love Is” shadowed by Tucker. This is a balanced session with excellent brass work all around with Jennings arrangements and production striking gold!
