O’s Notes: Dionne sings eleven of her best hits for this newly recorded CD. Among them are a series of Bachrach/David compositions freshened by the addition of contemporary artists. The best examples are “Reach Out For Me” with El DeBarge and The Emotions, “There’s Always Something There To Remind Me” with Jonathan Butler (g) and “Do You Know The Way To San Jose?” featuring the Latin flavor of Pete Escovedo and Gerald Albright on flute. These additions help bring Warwick back into the limelight.
