O’s Notes: Rosemary was one of the greatest jazz singers. You may remember her for her performance with Bing Crosby in “White Christmas”. She didn’t waste any notes, putting all of her energy where it made an impact. Some of her best work was on Concord recordings from 1977-2002. The last of these, “Sentimental Journey” garnered a Grammy nomination. But there was so much more good music. Thirty-two of the best are on this 2-CD set.
