O’s Notes: The movie projector and title suggest this is a collection of cinema themes and it is indeed a dozen classics from both Broadway and the silver screen. The twist is the klezmer approach! Krakauer plays clarinet with a strong team that ushers in the festive spirit of a circus. It is an interesting approach that disguises some favorites for several bars unless you cheat with the liner notes! Our favorite is “People” featuring violinist Jenny Schneinman.
