O’s Notes: Larry has been playing piano for a long time, long enough to develop a distinctive melodic voice that resonates on this blend of standards with a few originals. He is joined by Buster Williams on bass and Al Foster on drums, two very polished players who make strong contributions here. Our favorite among nine songs is “I Have A Dream” where each of the musicians shine. This is a well-balanced set.
