O’s Notes: Lynda takes a view of Christmas from her childhood memories. She even includes a children’s chorus on five of the sixteen tunes. In that light, her “Sleigh Ride/Jingle Bells” medley is a perfect fit. They swing on “Santa Baby” reminding us that Christmas is not just for kids! The program theme is a novel idea and Jamison shines on the execution of it. She gets help from very good accompanying musicians making this a rich, reflective session.
