O’s Notes: Pianist Tom Wetmore leads the band and wrote all of the music but he doesn’t dominate the action. Guitarists Brad Williams and Justin Sabaj add sizzle while Michael League (b) and drummer Garrett Brown anchor the bottom. We liked “Red Lights”, “Good And Plenty” and the title track in a strong set. There is excellent interplay with sax harmonies that make The Desired Effect a reality.
