O’s Notes: These are live recordings of the legendary saxophonist John Coltrane recorded in November 1961 during his European Tour. The venues were L’Olympia in Paris, Falconercentret in Copenhagen, Kulttuuritalo in Helsinki and Konserthuset in Stockholm. Trane was in rare form. Unfortunately the recording quality and varying volume level from song to song detracts from the strong performance. “Blue Train”,”Naima”, “Impressions” and “My Favorite Things” are among the highlights on a four-disc set.
