O’s Notes: Frank Vignola plays guitar and Joe Ascione handles percussion. The country bluegrass feel of this session is both relaxing and energetic. Check out “Flight of the Bumblebee” for a taste of the later or mellow out on “Stardust”. There is more flamenco on “Sweet Rhythm” and “Spiderman”. There are also some good vocals from Jane Monheit and Janis Siegel. We really liked “Long Train Running” with a dash of funk. This is a good show!
