O’s Notes: This is modern jazz worth repeated listening. The blends of Greg’s sax with veterans Andrew Hill (piano) and Jim Hall (guitar) are tasty. There isn’t a lot of flash, but this is a lot of well mixed harmony. Drummer, Terri Lyne Carrington provides the glue and sizzle when necessary.
