O’s Notes: The LA EP is a program of three well-developed compositions by Myles Wright. The band has a very powerful and precise brass section that is supported by a strong rhythm section that includes drummer Harvey Mason, Sr. The package includes a well-recorded CD and a Blu-ray DVD (shot in black & white) that further enhances the experience. The passion, coordinated precision and dynamics can truly be appreciated in that medium. Running time is only 24+ minutes but they pack a tremendous amount of energy into that space.
