O’s Notes: Julia stays within a comfortable range to deliver soft, warm lyrics that are soothing. That calming effect takes the edge off of all she touches including classics like “Sir Duke”. They start off swinging on “Call Me” and gently glide through the set from there. Harry Kim shadows Fordham with a muted trumpet on “Like You Used To Do”. The bend’s interaction with Julia is seamless with a strong vibe that stood out on “Happy Ever After”.““We liked this session more and more with each song and recommend it!
