O’s Notes: The music swings to the groove of the stick: a guitar + bass + MIDI played by Adelson. It’s all done simultaneously (no dubs) along with the rest of the band, which includes drummer Matt Wilson and Larry Coryell (g) on a few tracks, notably “Nadda Chants”. The music takes on a Caribbean flavor when the steel drums and/or vibes are introduced. It’s a creative new approach that has a lot of substance.
