O’s Notes: It’s easy to cut to the chase on this one: it is an excellent big band recording. Why? 1. There are excellent dynamics even between the musicians; 2. Many different instruments are featured including special guests Dianne Reeves, Take Six, David Sanborn and Eddie Daniels; and 3. The song selection is great including enough variety to please a broad audience. Yes, we liked it!
