O’s Notes: Richard’s voice is a unique throaty baritone that is pleasing to listen to. He soars through a dozen romantic standards. He performs with the Lynne Arriale Trio: Lynne (p), Jay Anderson (b) and Steve Davis (d). Classics like “My Funny Valentine”, “Beyond The Sea” and “Send In The Clowns” are well done, a nice combination of swingers and ballads. This is a good listening album.
