O’s Notes: Katahdin’s Edge is a trio featuring Willie Myette (p), John Funkhouser (b) and Mike Connors (d). They play jazz-fusion that sounds larger than a 3-man band. Willie wrote all of the tunes and produced this release as well. They use varying volumes to draw listeners in. Our favorites were the playfully spirited “Broken Leg Blues” and “Sydney”.
