O’s Notes: Drummer Asaf Sirkis leads a trio with Steve Lodder (keyboards, organ) and Mike Outram (guitar). They play nine Sirkis originals. The sound of the church organ gives “Nothingness” an eerie sound followed by Outram’s fusion guitar lead on “When You Ask Why” and mesmerizing melody on “Miniature”. But the definitive instrument here is the organ with its pipes and power defining the moods from church to circus. It’s different.
