O’s Notes: The Very Thought of You is a showcase for singer Patty Peterson. The music is upbeat with festive spices giving a different twist to these tried and true standards. Party’s voice is rich and warm and she recreates these oldies in a rewarding fashion. Jerry Bergonzi plays complementary sax on “Something” and “Save Your Love For Me”. He is one of several star musicians making appearances on this release along with Sheila E (perc) and Ricky Peterson (B3 & synchs).
