O’s Notes: The opener, “Georgia”, sets the stage: sweet and wispy tenor sax played with maximum expression. Lloyd picked an excellent crew to back him with Brad Mehldau (p), John Abercrombie (g), Larry Grenadier (b) and Billy Higgins (d). It is beautifully relaxing music centered around sax and piano.
