O’s Notes: Kim has a warm voice with deep soft tones. The focus of Select Standards is Love Songs from the Great American Songbook. Included in this collection is “Love Remembered”, an original from her previous album with the same title and worth repeating. She performs well in multiple configurations and plays piano on two selections a well notably “Night and Day”. Our favorite, “Moment to Moment” really swings. Siebert makes these songs her own with both passion and character leading to a good set.
