O’s Notes: This compilation documents Bill’s development with songs from 1977’s Feels Good To Me through 1985’s Flags. This is a period where he migrated between fusion and progressive rock. Among the best is 1979’s “Travels with Myself and Someone Else” featuring bassist Jeff Berlin and Dave Stewart (keys). Bruford is strong throughout but especially on “Symmetry” and “Blue Brains”, both from 1983’s Music For Piano and Drums.
