O’s Notes: Guitarist Ryan Blotnick resurfaces leading a quartet leading a new quartet with Tyler G. Wood (p, organ), Adam Chilenski (b), and Otto Hauser (d).  The Woods is where the Blotnick spent his youth, and coincidentally the name of the recording studio. For Ryan, the outdoors is a place of reflection and a basis for creativity. The mood here is subdued and relaxing. We liked “Pecao” and “Two Lights” best in the set of 10 selections.
