O’s Notes: Dr. John had a raspy deep baritone voice that blended very well with blues stories. The late legendary singer’s last studio recording, Things Happen That Way, was just released three years after he passed. Though he was fading at the time of the recording, it represents strong memories of his best performances. Highlights are “I’m So Lonesome”, “Funny How Time Slips Away” and “End Of The Line” featuring Aaron Neville.
