O’s Notes: Guitarist Alex Diambrini unleashes his guitar in funk, fusion and Latin attacks. Yuko Tamura (p), Tim Powell (b) and Danny Pucillo, Jr. (d) join him. The interaction between the band members is well coordinated, especially on “The Goodbye Girls” with special guest Gary Herbig on sax. They are in high gear for most of the set but relax a little on “Yuko’s Song” and Alex’s solo “Bellezza Cara”. Diambrini shows a lot of versatility on this release.
