O’s Notes: Rebecca Sullivan is a confident vocalist who teams up with arranger, guitarist Mike Allemana for This Way, This Time, her debut recording. She takes an aggressive stance with little cover through ten selections, mostly standards with a couple of originals. Sullivam’s delicate voice spans three octaves blending well with Allemana’s notations and her own harmonizing tracks. Rebecca is off to a good start defining her space.
