O’s Notes: The Three Tenors popularized a format that has now been extended on several fronts. This live session at New Morning in Paris feature three of today’s best contemporary jazz guitarists. They are celebrating their instruments, all acoustic guitars with warm natural sound. Badi Assad adds some vocals on a few tracks and then bows out to let Larry and John play a couple of duets. There are seventeen tracks for guitar lovers highlighted by our favorite, “Corcovado”.
