O’s Notes: This is a 2002 recording featuring Tony singing 15 more romantic ballads. He injects a couple of originals notably “This Is What I Am”, the title track of his 1996 release. But mostly these are selections from the Great American Songbooks. “Anything Goes”, But Beautiful” and “I’ve Got The World On A String” are a few of the best. Messina’s warm inviting voice is a good platform for delivering these tunes. He articulates the words so that you can appreciate the lyrics.
