O’s Notes: Guitarist Bill Hart steps out with an electrifying experience on his latest release Touch of Blue. He leads a quintet with Enrici Galetta (b), Pat Strawser (keys), Juangui Aguyo (d) and Ahsa Ahla (perc). Bassist Gary Wilkins anchors tracks 7 & 8. The music is mostly rock-based fusion with Hart handling most of the melodies and solos. “Funky Do Funky Don’t” is a slight deviation that stands out as one of the better selections. The Atlanta-based band delivers a high energy set.
