The composer, reedman and bandleader brings jazz, contemporary and classical music together in his own way.“Trajectory“his the latest example in a sextet with Gavin Templeton (sax), Daniel Rosenboom (t), Alexander Noice (g), Miller Wrenn (b) and Andrew Lessman (d). We’d classify the music as eclectic, free fusion. The pace is varied from the eerie sounds of “Ugly Bags of Mostly Water” to the more upbeat “Spaniard’s Dilemma which coiffure to Choose”. There are 2 discs, 16 tunes and lots of fun.
