O’s Notes: Dave’s changes both personally (divorce) and professionally (The Band is +one and -two members) have not had an adverse impact on his music. In fact Transition is one of his best efforts to date, an upbeat collection with playful swinging grooves, some syncopated Latin beats and subtle reflections on “Passion”. A very good effort.
