O’s Notes: The trio has blossomed into a larger ensemble featuring leader Mark Chaet on violin with Giorgio Radoja (p), Sergei Sweschinskij (b) and Adam Tomaszewski (perc, marimba). Several others join them over 19 selections. The music is a blend of classical, gypsy, folk and western jazz. It is jovial, spirited and playful though there are also moments of sadness. World jazz fans will be most appreciative of this release.
