O’s Notes: This is a fresh set of guitar-based jazz-fusion led by Andy Rothstein with Tony Senatore (b), Tom Cottone (d), Steve Jankowski (t, tb, flugelhorn) and saxophonists Tom Timko & Ken Gioffre. We liked “The Witness” featuring vocalist Audrey Martello, “Perfect Storm”, “Sdpm”, “Cab 804” and “Step Out” with a groove that reminded us of Spyro Gyra! Andy explodes on the finale “Truth Against The World” capping a great set.
