O’s Notes: There is a lot of energy with the layered brass and reeds in Choi’s 10-piece Tiny Orkester. The sound is very large in defiance of their name! Choi arranged all of the music and composed two of the five selections as well. He recreates several classics with a vibrant, modern flair. We enjoyed every bit of the“Tschüss Jazz Era, and praise the many musicians who brought the written notes to life.
