O’s Notes: Nick plays bass and Joel plays guitar as the core of The Tucker Brothers. Sean Imboden (sax) and Brian Yarde (d) round out the quartet. Elena Escudero opens the set adding rich vocals to ‘Warm Heart‘ followed by ‘When Souls Meet‘ featuring guest tenor saxophonist Walter Smith III. We also enjoyed ‘Two Parts‘ featuring pianist Ellie Pruneau and ‘Sundancing‘ with guest alto saxophonist Amanda Gardier. This is a mellow jazz-fusion set.
